The Outsider: Movie Review
The Outsider
a Movie Review
(Cherry Mae M. Salvo)
The Outsider is a dark, horror-mystery film based on Stephen King's best-selling novel. It's about the investigation of a heinous murder of a little kid. However, when the main character goes deeper into the inquiry, an evil otherworldly power infiltrates the case, prompting an unconventional detective to rethink everything they believe. To be honest, I haven't seen The Outsider yet, thus I don't have enough information to give a review. I attempted to find it on the internet to watch, but it wasn't the two-hour movie I expected; instead, it was a series broken into episodes; a long one. However, when I watched the trailer, I saw that it was dark, serious, and frightening. It piqued my interest to see how the inquiry progressed and how the tale unfolded. The questions I wanted to know were who is engaged in the case and how the filmmaker interpreted Stephen King's inspired novel of the same name.
